Special ProgramsThe special programs listed on this page are ongoing - they are not just one-time events. If you have any questions on our special programs, please contact our Marketing Director at marketing-director@fierceloverescue.org. If you would like to donate to a specific program, use the donate button for that program (your donation will then be earmarked for that specific program). We guarantee that your dollars will be spent on the program you choose per our Fundraising Policy. Quick LinksSpecial-Needs Animal ProgramEducational Programs Feed a Feral Cat Colony Program Special-Needs Animal ProgramFLR is committed to helping all animals, including those with special needs. We have instituted a program inspired by our first three special-needs animals (Salt, Pepper, and Liberty). When you donate to this program, your dollars will go into a special fund reserved just for our special needs animals. Your donations will allow us to intake other special-needs animals in the future.Special needs animals may need extra patience, special routines, medical treatments, training, etc. to address needs such as:

Educational ProgramsOne of our primary missions is to educate the public about animal species, their habitats, their care, conservation among other topics. We have developed programs that we use when we visit school classrooms, church groups, nursing homes, community events, etc. We take our Educational Ambassadors to these programs as well as to other types of events in which we participate. The programs we have held thus far have been well received, and we always find an enthusiastic crowd at other events where we have a booth or table. Feed a Feral Cat ColonyFLR plans to feed a feral cat colony in Virginia one day a week. When you donate to this special program, we use your donations to purchase food for the cats.
