Shelby is a 5-year old blind, terrier mix and is full of energy. Don’t let her blindness fool you.  She is really good at adapting to new places and getting around!   She loves to play, and will cuddle once all her energy is spent.

She is treat motivated and easy to train. She knows sit, lay, night night, paw. She is both crate and house trained. She is not aggressive but loud sounds (like a door knock) do startle her and she will bark.  This reaction is likely related to being blind as she apparently did not react like that before going completely blind. 

Shelby's blindness was caused by glaucoma - her tear ducts were built incorrectly at birth. 

Shelby redirects if needed and gets around really well. 

Shelby would do best together with in a home with a canine companion.
