Sweet Reese is still looking for her furever home.
She’s about 5 months old and is up to date on all age appropriate vaccinations. She came from a shelter in Georgia, along with her sister, and was saved from euthanization She is one of the lucky ones and her sweet personality suggests how grateful she is. When she first came in to rescue Reese was very skinny and seemed to inhale her food rather than chew and swallow it. Because of her rough start, she does have a tendency to be food aggressive. However, that is easily remedied by having her eat in a separate room and by not giving out treats unless she is in her crate. Reese is house-broken, food motivated, and she absolutely loves playing with other dogs. My favorite thing about her, though, is that she loves to snuggle up close to us on the couch and let out contented little snorts and sighs. She’ll sleep all night curled up in your arms if you’ll let her.
Reese will need to go to a home that has another dog. She shows no shyness when it comes to meeting a new dog, but new people have to earn her trust and affection. Having another dog in the home helps her learn the ropes and gives her a sense of security when her humans are not home.
